HIP HOPS DANCING JUNKIE & BEYOND

“HIP HOPS DANCING JUNKIE & BEYOND”. These words are the brand new motto of Hip Hop Dance Teacher, Brandon Chow. If you are interested in learning Hip Hop or are looking to teach it, we highly recommend that you take a few minutes to learn more about our program. You’ll be glad you did!

“Hip Hop Dance JUNKIE & BEYOND”. This is a short name for Hip Hop for Kids. HHDJ is an acronym for “High High Dedication”, which means that our lessons are more than just learning how to do basic moves (which we cover separately in our first two sessions). “Hip Hop Dance” is a term we use to describe our style of teaching. It is meant to be a non-judgmental, constructive approach to learning dance from our students. For example, instead of going through traditional choreography or “sanding the canvas”, we focus on the unique artistic process that comes with the making of creative works of art.

” FUN & FRIENDLY”. When we say “fun & friendly” what comes to mind? For us it’s fun, interesting, creative, and filled with laughter. Kids love being around us and they enjoy the break away from traditional dance styles (think back to ballet, tumbling, jazz, and more). When you take them to one of our classes, you will have a blast!

What Makes The Best Hip Hop Dance For Kids? – HIP HOPS DANCING JUNKIE & BEYOND

” BEST IN Class”. We don’t judge ourselves or our students. We know all children are different and what works for one may not work for another. That’s why we encourage our students to share their best times with us – not only to keep us motivated but also because it’s fun to see other kids having fun as well. It makes the class even more diverse and fun.

“EXPERIENCE”. If you ask any dancer, the most important quality is experience. Not just about the basics – how to get up and down the aisles of a dance floor, how long the first dance is, and where the red light is – but about the individual steps and skills. Ask any experienced teacher and they will tell you that each student is unique and each class is the best of their careers.

“ADDICTED”. Teachers for most of us are human too. So when you take kids to one of our classes, we want you to have a good time too. We want you to laugh, cry, learn, and feel inspired by the connection you share with these amazing young people.
