One of the essential conflicts, at least potentially, of real estate representation, and being a professional real estate agent, is the competition, between, the need for an agent to make a living (because only if you sell, will you make a living / commission ), and the responsibility to act, ethically, and maintain the highest degree of integrity, and prioritizing the needs, privacy and best interests of your client. Too often we witness someone taking a lot of time and attention to create an engaging and conducive atmosphere to inspire, being hired by an owner, rather than fully informing their client of the possibilities and effectively preparing an individual. . Isn’t it time the real estate agents keep it up, REAL? With that in mind, this article will attempt to briefly consider, examine, review and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and how it might help the overall process.

1. Important; reasoning/justification; branch offices; realistic; reason: Many homeowners become their own worst enemies because they allow their emotional attachment to their homes to override rational and realistic consideration and review. Responsible agents provide relevant direction and explain much of what should be anticipated. They explain their reasoning and rationale, and why they think this approach is the best. It is important to realize the potential ramifications, realistically. Clients need and deserve the representation of an agent who is realistic, rational, and willing to reduce the stress and strain of the real estate transaction period.

Empathy; energize; Excellence; endurance: Consistently great agents effectively listen and learn from every conversation and experience, so they can proceed with the highest degree of genuine empathy! Clients are often overwhelmed by the process and need to be energized. Nothing, except demanding the highest degree of personal excellence, is acceptable. Look for an agent who is ready, willing and able to clearly articulate their ideas and perceptions!

Four. Listen; to learn; leadership: A quality agent must effectively listen and learn from every conversation and experience, and demonstrate valuable leadership throughout the entire transaction process. While there can be ups and downs, great agents make the overall experience easy.

A client needs and deserves great representation from an agent who is willing to keep it. REAL, in the best interest of your client. Wise owners select carefully!
