Bible Highlighters Beware! Pilot Frixion erasable gel pens come to mark your bible!

For bible markup I have been doing a lot of research going through many blogs and reviews and this is by far the biggest breakthrough I have ever had. Someone emailed me after checking out your blog, and to say the least, the additional research I did was mind-boggling!

Imagine the possibilities of color coding what you want to make a mistake and then just erasing it! But what about your bible? This here was a notebook… Well, again, the verdict is pretty clear that with your light touch you should be completely fine on this note. The Pilot FriXion Ball Erasable Gel Ink Pen has a good look and concept, but it is not suitable for everyone. So how on earth can you have a pen with ink on it and erase it without eraser shards? Here it goes:

The new “thermosensitive gel ink formula” erases effortlessly with the rubber back cap that provides friction. Then this ink is specially designed to be erased or removed if you wish with friction! But here’s the downside, if you can call it that. Gel ink doesn’t come off as easily as gel should, more like a regular ballpoint pen, the standard for ballpoint pens these days, and it appears light or washed out when you put it down. Pilot claims that the eraser in this pen will never run out! This means you don’t have to worry about what happens when the eraser is gone because it won’t be gone!

Well, the real test, like any car bug pen, is proper driving. This Bible marking tool has a dimpled rubber handle and comes in a pack of 6 colors including black, blue, orange, red, pink and purple. Buyer beware: You should only use this pen for things like marking the Bible, as anything legal or the like can be easily altered. So for us Bible students, marking our Bible has never been easier in this department.

Now, when it comes to bookmarking the Bible or just studying the Bible in general, bookmarking keywords is a critical component of inductive Bible study. One of the great things about this pen is that the gel ink is almost like a colored pencil; It has a flat finish instead of a glossy finish like most gel inks. And it is erasable. This is its most outstanding feature. There is also minimal bleed on the thin paper that most Bibles have; which is the most important thing you would be looking for on this review site.

OK, so what’s the downside, right? Well here are some, if you want to highlight text you can’t because it’s a pen and again as mentioned in another article you can’t highlight with a pen. The good news about this is that Pilot solves this problem by releasing the now erasable highlighter set in three different colors, I haven’t tried them and can’t recommend them but I hope to write something about them soon. Now here again is the problem that you have to spend more money to get all the things you want. The concept is cool yes and indeed these are fantastic pens and I’m sure the highlighters work fantastic but why spend more money when you can get everything you want in one item right?

Enter the Pentel 8- Color Pencil for your Bible marking needs. You get 8 colors in one Bible marking pen, so you don’t keep track of separate Bible marking pens here. It can be used as a highlighter or as an eyeliner. What is extremely important here is that the lines do not run, smear, fade or transfer to the opposite page. the leads are super smooth meaning you can go crazy when highlighting to get the perfect amount of color instead of having too much color which is a great feature if you ask me.

So what will my friend be? Are you going to get the erasable (a good choice indeed) or the Pentel? Whatever he chooses, God bless you and happy studying!
