In Un’Goro Crater, an incredibly lush and beautiful region nestled between a desert and a wasteland, lies a new area for players to explore. It’s called Shaper’s Terrace, and like the rest of Un’Goro Crater, it’s also an area teeming with life and verdant vegetation. But the physical features of the land are not what make it so interesting. The charm and mystery of the area lies in the fact that it is a Titan related area. This means that the Titans, powerful god-like beings, could possibly have lived there or conducted their experiments there. For players, this could mean treasure to be had and powerful tools to be used. Being that these come from the Titans themselves, it is likely that the powers they can bestow are beyond the mind’s imagination. Who knows, right? At the moment, not much is known about Shaper’s Terrace. However, I can tell you how to get there so you can see the area for yourself. If you’re lucky, you just might find yourself with a worthwhile reward for all your trouble.

To get to Terrace, you don’t really need to go to Un’Goro Crater, or pass through the dangerous desert of Tanaris or the desolate wasteland of Silithus. Instead, go to Sholazar Basin, one of the most curious places in Northrend. Why am I saying this? Well, consider that Northrend is, for the most part, all ice. The Sholazar basin, however, defies the law of nature and resembles a tropical jungle. Incredible true? But knowing that Sholazar Basin was once home to Titans as well, that’s probably why it’s still a paradise when the rest of Northrend is a frozen hell. Once you reach Sholazar Basin, look for Waygate, a portal that will immediately take you to Shaper’s Terrace. The Waygates look like structures with shiny glass or water in the middle. There are no other means of transportation, so don’t waste time trying to get there by plane or on foot.

One can only wonder what is the connection between the Sholazar basin and Shaper’s Terrace. Both are Titan-related areas and both have similar physical descriptions. It is also a puzzle why there is a waygate connecting the two. Whichever the case, going to one or both seems like an exciting, if not fruitful thing to do. There are probably quests waiting for you that would be very beneficial for your character. So once you get your World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion, be sure to stop by Sholazar Basin and look for your Waygate. Explore both areas and you’re sure to get rewards!
