Okay, so why is everyone so obsessed with the iPod these days? I mean, are they really necessary? I have many things to listen to music, including my home stereo, my car stereo, my walkman, and even my computer. Why do I need an iPod?

Well, once I used my friend’s iPod, I was hooked! Just hit play, and the thing is gone forever! So yes, now I see the need for an iPod. Maybe you’re like me, I’m not sure if you really need an iPod. Hopefully, this Apple iPod review will help you make an informed purchase decision.

There are all kinds of iPods you can buy, starting with the 1GB Shuffle (GB stands for Gigabyte). You can also get the 120GB iPod Classic, which is much more expensive, but has a lot more features too. There is also the iPod Nano, which is either 8GB or 16GB.

You can do all kinds of things with an iPod in addition to listening to songs. You can play games, listen to podcasts and audiobooks, view photo albums, and watch movies and TV shows (recorded, not live)

In the iTunes Store, you can access thousands of podcasts for free. It’s like listening to the radio, without the commercials. You can get material from ABC News, Comedy Central, PBS, ESPN, and many other channels.

As I continue my review of the Apple iPod, I want to see some of the extras that you get with your iPod that are not related to entertainment. This includes calendars, contacts, and a world clock. You can also configure your iPod so that only you can see its contents. And Apple’s iPod also has a stopwatch, which is a nice feature for when you go to the gym, which is one of the places where the iPod or any other MP3 player comes in most handy.

Some of the iPod accessories you get are a USB 2.0 cable, a dock adapter, a quick start guide, and a carrying case.
